BIOGRAFIE
Ruth Theresa Fiedler absolvierte 2006 an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen ihr Diplom bei Susanne Schlegel und erweiterte ihre Studien anschließend noch zwei Jahre um „Barockgesang“ bei Harry van der Kamp. In den folgenden Jahren wurde sie von verschiedenen Theatern als festes Ensemblemitglied sowie als Gast im Koloraturfach engagiert, inzwischen ist sie auch im lyrisch-dramatischen Fach zu Hause: Ihr Repertoire reicht vom Barock (Partien wie Romilda in Händels “Xerxes”) über Mozart (Königin der Nacht, Fiordiligi, Contessa Almaviva) und den Belcanto (Donizettis “Lucia di Lammermoor”, Odabella in “Attila” und Gilda in “Rigoletto” von Giuseppe Verdi) bis zur Moderne, wie z. B. Detlev Glanerts “Caligula” (Livia).Große Erfolge feiert Ruth Fiedler auch im Operettenfach (Adele in Strauß’ “Fledermaus”, Lisa in Lehars “Land des Lächelns”).Sie sang an den Opernhäusern in Lüneburg, Osnabrück, Neustrelitz, Lübeck, Kaiserslautern und Dortmund, bei den Eutiner Festspielen, sowie im Prinz-Regenten-Theater München, in der Laeiszhalle Hamburg, in der Stuttgarter Liederhalle und den Philharmonien in Berlin und Paris. Ruth Fiedler arbeitete mit Dirigenten wie Markus Stenz, Helmuth Rilling, Alexander Liebreich und Uwe Sandner; Operninszenierungen erarbeitete sie unter anderem mit Cusch Jung, Kerstin Maria Pöhler und Peter Konwitschny.
Equally at home on the concert and opera stages, Ruth Theresa Fiedler has enjoyed notable successes as a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano. On the opera stage her roles have included the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor for Theater Lueneburg, Landestheater Neustrelitz and Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte for Landestheater Neustrelitz, Olympia in Offenbach’s Les contes d’ Hoffmann and Queen of the night in The Magic Flute in Theater Lueneburg. She has appeared at the Theater Osnabrueck with Pulcheria in Telemann’s Sieg der Schoenheit and Lisa in Lehar’s Land des Laechelns for Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern and Oper Dortmund. She also sang Odabella in Verdi’s Attila and Romilda in Haendel’s Xerxes for the Landestheater Neustrelitz and Contessa Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro in Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern.
Ruth’s numerous concert engagements have included regular appearances at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. Bremer Dom, Altenberger Dom, the Prinzregententheater, the Philhamonie in Berlin and the one Paris and with orchestras including Philharmonic Orchestra Bergisch Gladbach, Accademia Andreae (Cologne) and Concerto Bremen.
Ruth works with conductors such as Rainer Mühlbach, Tobias Gravenhorst, Roman Salyutov, Uwe Sandner, Christoph Kuhlmann and Joerg Pitschmann and with opera directors such as Peter Konwitschny, Cusch Jung and Herbert Murauer.
